Theo Hillborg, saxophone, and Julia Isaksson, piano, started playing together in 2017 during their studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Julia has continued her studies in London, is doing her master's degree at the Royal Academy of Music and is also studying the Interpretation Diploma at the Malmö Academy of Music. Theo is doing his master's degree at the Royal Academy of Music in

Stockholm. They both completed their bachelor's degree with First Class Honors and have both won prizes in the Stockholm International Music Competition and received scholarships from the Royal Academy of Music. Julia & Theo recently won first prize in the prestigious chamber music biennial Ung & Lovande 2021.

Julia & Theo has already developed a large repertoire and performed both in the UK and in Sweden. By presenting as unique and innovative a program as possible, with genres such as folk music, jazz, classical and modern music, they strive to make their concerts as refreshing and engaging as possible. During her time in London, Julia & Theo have had lessons for e.g. Kathryn Stott, Bengt Forsberg, Simon Haram, Huw Wiggin, Nicola Eimer, Diana Ketler and Gary Carpenter.
