12-15 years (Participants who have not turned 16 by the date of 26 August)
Semifinal: Free choice of program with an included mandatory piano work by a Swedish composer (eg Dag Wirén, Wilhelm Stenhammar, Elfrida Andrée, Emil Sjögren, Erland von Koch, Ingvar Lidholm etc.)
Playing time: minimum 6 min max 8 min
Final: Free choice of program
Playing time: at least 8 min max 10 min
Award ceremony at the festival concert on the 27th August

Best interpretation of a Swedish piano work: SEK 500
